We don’t usually do meet-and-greets.
In most cases, we’ll start with a regular adventure. If your dog is new to group outings, needs a slower intro, or you’d just prefer it, we can begin with a Solo Adventure.
Required: Rabies (current), DHPP/DAPP (current), Bordetella (current)
Please note: you can enter your dog’s vaccine expiration dates during signup. We don’t require formal documentation upfront unless we request it.
Explorer Adventures are about 2 hours door-to-door (roughly 1–1.5 hours on the trail). Summit Adventures are about 4 hours door-to-door (roughly 2.5–3.5 hours on the trail).
We pick up your dog, secure them for a safe ride to a curated trail, then spend the adventure hiking, sniffing, exploring, and practicing calm trail manners. Dogs get water breaks, rest, and positive reinforcement as needed. You’ll receive GPS tracking and photo updates, and we’ll finish with an Adventure Report Card before we drop off your tired, happy pup.
We require dogs to be at least neutral around other dogs (not aggressive or reactive). If your dog is selective or needs extra space, tell us in your intake form and we’ll do our best to match them thoughtfully. If a group setting isn’t the right fit, we may recommend starting with a Solo Adventure.
Colorado weather changes fast, so we plan for it. And just because the weather is messy doesn’t mean your pup has to stay home and be bored — dog energy doesn’t just disappear. If conditions aren’t safe or comfortable for a full outdoor adventure, we don’t cancel by default — we pivot. That usually means choosing a safer route (more shade, cooler areas, better footing) or switching to one of our indoor adventure options around the metro area so your dog still gets movement, enrichment, and structure that day. We only reschedule if we can’t deliver a safe alternative (for example, dangerous road conditions).
Yes—pickup and drop-off is included. We’ll pick up your dog from your home (or an approved location), then return them after the adventure within the scheduled pickup window.
Preferred pickup is an outside handoff at the door. If you won’t be home, we can coordinate a secure backup plan (like a garage code, lockbox, or another agreed pickup point) on a case-by-case basis. Home entry is only used when a dog is calm and comfortable with a stranger entering. If your dog isn’t calm at the door (barking, lunging, or crowding), we won’t enter—we’ll pause and contact you right away to adjust the plan.
We totally get that plans change. If you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as you can. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled service time are considered late and are charged a 50% late cancellation fee. If there’s an emergency, reach out — we’ll review it case-by case.
